Wet Organics -- Slide into Natural Lubricant

My Wife and I have tried a lot of different lubricants in our 11 years together, but this one was certainly unique. Among water-based, silicone-based, hybrids, and oil-based lubes, we have never encountered something with the number one ingredient as aloe vera.

Wet® provided me a hefty sample of their aloe based lubricant in exchange for my review. Aloe leaf juice, which is a natural plant-derived ingredient, is water-based. Therefore, Wet® Organics™ is a water-based lubricant. In addition this link here, I am providing you with a list of the Wet® Organics™ ingredients below:
  • Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Propanediol, Tremella Fuciformis Extract, Gluconolactone, Sodium Hyaluronate, Quinoa (quinoa) seed extract, Chenopodium Cannabis (Hemp) Sativa Seed Extract,  Linum Usitatissimum (Flax) seed extract, Camellia Sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Hydroxyethycellulose, Xantham Gum, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid.
I do not purport to be a chemist, bio-chemist, or anyone who has a working professional knowledge of chemicals and their interactions with the human body. I can tell you that we have had only positive experiences with Wet® Organics™ both vaginally and anally after three weeks of heavy use.

The reason we prefer water-based lubrication is twofold:
  1. It is very, very easy on our bodies. We are both in our mid-30's, and lubrication has become a lot more routine than when we were in our early 20's. Water-based lubes are usually body safe. Wet® Organics™ is a trusted name in a highly unregulated industry. We have been using their brand for nearly 10 years.
  2. When we use toys (which is 99% of the time), most of those toys are silicone. Water-based lube is very safe on silicone, and it will not deteriorate the integrity of those expensive toys.
My personal favorite Wet® product is the Platinum™. It's a silicone-based lube, and I use it whenever I use a non-silicone anal plug or prostate massager. The reason is because it lubricates my anus better, and it does not dry up or get absorbed while the toy has been inside me.

That said, Wet® Organics™ has become one of our go-to lubes for vaginal intercourse and hand jobs. It's very slick, the viscosity is somewhere between a gel and an oil, and it cleans up super easily. To rejuvenate it, simply apply more, or use a little water (or spit) to rehydrate the slick ingredients. Since Wet® Organics™ is water-based, it will dry out after a spell. It's important to be in tune with your body and know when you need to apply more or add some moisture.

Also, if you've seen my penis enlargement case study, you might have read that I need to moisturize my member after engaging in a pumping session. The Wet® Organics™ aloe vera acts as a great moisturizer during and after masturbation. I don't use it as my after-pumping moisturizer (for that I use fractionated olive oil). Rather, if I use it during masturbation, I just leave it on my penis to help the skin. Aloe vera is notorious for its healing and nourishing properties.

Bottom line on Wet® Organics™, we love it -- not for everything, but for most things. It makes a great, soothing lube for vaginal sex, anal stimulation, and manual stimulation. Its strengths are that it lasts a bit longer than our other water based lubes, there is no smell, it has a slick and welcoming viscosity, it is naturally soothing, and it's super easy to clean. The cons are few, but I prefer silicone lube for anal play, and I'm not a huge fan of reapplying lube during intercourse. That said, I do highly recommend this lube for anyone who wants to go the more natural route or is looking for a water-based lube.
